Наверное,они не имеют его в своих питомниках -рассадниках,а просто продают "типа под него"...поскольку есть спрос,как "дань моде"?

А давайте пошукаємо на американських сайтах і побачимо от таку фотографію яблука з "хрещеним" батьком сорту:

Як можна побачити - навіть на цьому сайті фотографії різні.
Ну й цікавинка з першої фотографії:
“We coined the term ‘explosively crisp’ for the Honeycrisp apple,” said David Bedford, apple breeder for the University of Minnesota and the “godfather” of the Honeycrisp apple. “When you bite into it there’s just this ‘crack!’ and then the juice follows. It’s different from any other apple out there.”
And that’s not just hyperbole. The Honeycrisp apple is physically and genetically different from other apples in that the cells of a Honeycrisp are about twice as large as the cells of others. This creates the characteristic crunch and juice explosion that have made the apples so popular.
